Before You Apply

You are about to commence your application for Victoria Police. Please note that your written application will be assessed. Only competitive applications will be invited to the exam.

Before you apply to join Victoria Police you will need to ensure the following:

• That you are fit and healthy and able to pass the fitness testing as published on the Police Careers website.
• That you meet the minimum medical requirements.
• That your criminal and traffic history is in accordance with Police Regulation Act, 1958, Police Regulations 2003 and the current Victoria Police Recruit Prior Offence, Character and Reputation Policy. Full checks will be undertaken to determine your suitability.
